Just perfect. Here's a beautiful marriage of James Brown's soulful 1966 single "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" and Ramin Djawadi's opening credits theme for hit HBO series Game of Thrones...

Classic Trailer: The List of Adrian Messenger
Sorry that's not quite accurate, this is not a trailer - couldn't find one on youtube. Instead here are the opening credits of The List of Adrian Messsenger, another old neglected gem Vendetta Films is releasing soon. They're still one of the few distributors around anymore who actually manage to really dig into the back catalogue and find lesser known films worth unearthing, so it's good to support these guys whenever we can. This one's a nifty whodunnit from John Huston, with one of the great A-list casts of the period: Kirk Douglas, Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Robert Mitchem, Tony Curtis, George C. Scott. If you like old-fashioned mysteries with a slight gimmicky twist, add this to your queue now!

Unofficial Credits Sequence: The Adventures of Tintin
This "unofficial" opening credits sequence to Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin by James Curran (aka slimjimstudios) is one of the most charming bits of animation I've seen in a while. It also charmed the pants off Spielberg, so much so that he's invited Curran to the premiere and given him a job!
The Adventures of Tintin from James Curran on Vimeo.
In sort of sucky news, we're going to be among the last in the world to see this movie...

Banksy Does The Simpsons
Just in case you missed it, here's the notorious and quite brilliant opening credit sequence for The Simpsons that elusive street artist Banksy designed. It popped up on the viral circuit a couple of days ago, and dropped a lot of jaws - nothing in the history of the show will prepare for how far it'll go, and it's a wonder that a mega-corp like Fox let it happen.
Click here for an interview about how it came to be. Also if haven't seen the superb Banksy documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, it's available to reserve on our site now.

Lost: The Sitcom!
So what's a Lost fan supposed to do in the (excruciating) downtime until Season 6 starts next Feb? If all the suffocatingly obsessive forum discussions are getting a bit too much, there's always the abundance of fan-created material on youtube to tide you over. The latest I've stumbled across is a great mix of Lost's Season 1 opening credits with Full House's theme song (there's a few more at TV Squad). It's kind of interesting how easily Lost lends itself to the late '80s/early '90s sitcoms, though it probably speaks to how cheesy the show can be at times (and no doubt the editorial wit of the clips' makers). But I dunno, maybe it's the hair or something. Either way it's pretty funny stuff. Love how they got the Full House typeface in there.
