Ready to see the White House go boom again? Trailer for Roland Emmerich's Channing Tatum-starring actioner White House Down has arrived, and it looks almost exactly like the same movie as Olympus Has Fallen, but with different actors and possibly more polished CGI. This will be the THIRD time Emmerich has destroyed the White House: the first was in Independence Day, and then again in 2012.

Teaser Trailer: A Good Day to Die Hard
Watch lotsa stuff explode in this plotless minute-long teaser for the next Die Hard movie - the FIFTH one, if you've lost count. Brucey gets to shoot people in Russia with his son (Jai Courtney) this time round, which one hopes will be a step up from Die Hard 4.0 (jeez how that title has dated). It's directed by John Moore though, who doesn't exactly have a track record to get excited about (Max Payne, The Omen remake), but I guess we'll see on Valentine's Day 2013.
Yippee ki-yay etc.

Trailer: Power Kids
Here's a fun little trailer for this somewhat slooow Friday afternoon... Power Kids looks like the next Muay Thai movie sensation from Prachya Pinkaew and Panna Rittikrai, the producers of Ong-Bak and Tom Yum Goong. This time round it's the kids who're doing all the kicking and knee-ing. It's currently playing at Montreal's FanTasia Film Festival, and the plot's being described as "Die Hard in a hospital". While the novelty of watching young kids beating the crap out of older bad guys has an undeniable draw, I'm skeptical as to whether the Muay Thai choreography - as seen in the trailer - will contribute anything new to the current pool of similar films. Still looks fun though.
